Animal Shelter
Please be advised that effective Monday, June 29, 2020, the Lancaster County Animal Shelter will be operating with the following restrictions:
- Masks are NOW MANDATORY on shelter grounds for the safety of staff and visitors. If you don't have a mask, one will be provided.
- There will be a limited number of people viewing animals at one time. Please be patient while visiting and maintain social distancing.
- We will NOT be offering microchips for the time being.
- Owner reclaims will be allowed. Please call 803-286-8103 (opt. 2) to schedule a pick up time.
- No owner surrenders at this time. Please call 803-286-8103 (opt.2) for questions or concerns.
- For complaints regarding a stray animal, animal neglect or animal abuse, please contact Animal Control at 803-283-3388 (opt 4).
