Youth Girls Volleyball

(Registration - Usually Early July)
For girls ages 7-12

Registration Fee: $70 

Program Description: (Ages 7-9)

This league is a youth volleyball league for ages 7-9 years old. The divisions could change depending on the number of participants registered. The age cutoff date is September 1st of playing year. The 9U division will be played with a light-weight training volleyball. Each player will be issued a team jersey and shorts. Uniform samples are available for sizing at each recreation center/registration site. You will receive what size you order. Reordering uniforms due to incorrect sizing may require an additional fee. Spectator admission for games: $2 for adults and $1 for school age children.

Opening Day & Picture Day:

  • TBA
  • All players are recommended to take group pictures on picture day, but do not have, nor do you have to purchase any group or individual pictures. We use the team pictures to give to our sponsors as a token of appreciation.
  • Regular Season Games will begin the week of TBA
  • All practices will take place in the community/area where you reside or your child’s school (ie. Lancaster, Buford, Indian Land, Kershaw, Heath Springs.)
  • Scheduled games will take place at your home site/area recreation center and half will be in another area recreation center. ( ½ home games and ½ away games)
Team Distribution:

  • Evaluations TBA
  • All players will be drafted to teams each year by the coaches (drafted equally by age). Players may not return to the team they played for the previous year and there are no guarantees your child will be placed on the team or with a coach you request. Due to the way teams are distributed, we can't honor team requests for transportation or any other reasons. The Head Coach will be allowed a maximum of two trades which must take place the night of the draft.

Player Skill Evaluations:

Evaluations are not tryouts and will consist of various skill-related drills. These evaluations will be used in the draft process to make teams more evenly matched. All registered participants need to attend. Following evaluations and the draft, you should hear from your coach no later than a week after your child’s evaluation. Practices will begin a week or so following your child’s skill evaluation.

12U Division (ages 10-12) *Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the session and check in at the table.

All-Stars:

LCPR will conduct all-stars for the 12U division and they will participate in SCAP tournaments. If selected, all-stars require an additional fee of $40. Each player will receive a new jersey.
