Lancaster County Seeks Community Input for Strategic Plan 

Lancaster County, SC (March 13, 2023)– Lancaster County is in the process of developing a new Strategic Plan and is seeking input from the community as a key part of this process. As the County leadership looks toward the future over the next decade, it will be important to hear from a wide variety of residents. 

On March 14th, the County will begin holding in-person focus group meetings for key specific groups within Lancaster County. The focus groups will allow the leadership to hear unique perspectives on what they think should be the focus moving toward the future. Participants will be given a survey with questions focused on their daily life experiences in Lancaster County. Participants are encouraged to share their perspectives on how the County can positively impact the many issues facing the citizens throughout the community.

“I am looking forward to working with County Council to review and analyze the Strategic Plan survey,” stated Dennis Marstall, County Administrator. “These results are extremely important in determining next steps as we plan and prepare for the County's future. Our intent with this Strategic Plan is to identify the right strategies that will help us to make Lancaster County the most desirable place to live, work and play.”
